For Jewish families living with Type 1 diabetes

The FWD Daily & Weekly Loop

Real-world diabetes insight, straight to your inbox.

The FWD Daily Loop is a short email that arrives each day — real, practical diabetes insight drawn from decades of living with Type 1, not theory from a textbook. One day it's a hard-won tip about insulin pumps or CGMs; the next it's an honest reflection on a difficult day, a new device on the horizon, or a question you thought only you were asking.

The FWD Weekly Loop gathers the week's posts into a single digest, and every Friday the Feedback Forum shares what other members wrote back — because so much of the value here comes from the community itself.

It's written with our world in mind: managing diabetes through Shabbos and Yom Tov, raising a child with Type 1, the questions that come up in frum life that nobody else thinks to address. More than anything, it's a reminder that you are not doing this alone.

I am signed up to receive your emails and thoroughly enjoy reading them. It makes my diabetes feel less like a lonely journey.
Thank you for the emails — I don't know how I would get through the day without them.
It's so refreshing to be reading your emails. You address so many of the issues I thought were only mine. It's good to know that I'm like everyone else — the good days, the hard days, and everything in between.
Thanks for all the posts. They are real chizuk and make me feel like part of a family.
This is so interesting — it's Erev Shabbos, I should be cooking, but I'm reading instead.
I've only recently started reading your emails, after 10 years of living with diabetes. I've found them valuable, informative, and encouraging. I truly appreciate the time and effort you put into FWD.
Thank you for your daily “injection” of information. It really gives me a lot to think about. I genuinely look forward to your emails.
Your daily emails provide a great deal of significant information. I had struggled to regain control — your updates have motivated me to try again and encourage me to keep going. Thank you for everything.
Thank you very much for the wealth of information. I can't imagine how much time is spent researching, thinking, testing, checking and working things out and then sharing the info clearly. It's a tremendous help. Hashem should repay you kiflayim!
